WHY STUDY IN GERMANY?

When we speak of countries that have an intriguing and impactful history, Germany is among the toppers in the list. If you’re a history nerd who loves technology, this is the place to be. Not only you learn a new language, you also get to experience diversity. Having invested enormously on higher education, the international students preferring Germany is rising more than ever. The courses have been designed keeping in mind the global standards of education, with primary focus on research and academics. What strikes as a very interesting feature is that German Universities are tuition-fee circa 2014 and this advantage isn’t for Germans but international students as well. However, it must be noted that this doesn’t apply to private universities.

Public universities- Free of Cost
Private universities- EUR 10,000-30,000 per annum
Living expenses-
EUR 12,000 per annum approximately

 

INTAKES

Intakes majorly take place twice a year, in the months of April and October.

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Each institution has a different set of admission requirements, the primary ones being English language proficiency test and some minimum academic requirements. Although, most of the programs are taught in both English and German, fluency in German is also deemed imperative in certain cases. GRE/GMAT scores hold importance while trying to seek admission for postgraduate courses.

 

WORK OPPORTUNITIES-

International students are allowed to work for 20 hours a week during the regular college days without giving a backseat to the education. There are no restrictions during vacation or breaks.
